Extensive description. In the beautiful Cancun, Quinta Roo, the journalist Adam Sherman, in his eagerness to fill spaces in his newspaper, finds in Dr. Arturo Gaytán an inexhaustible source of experiences, which is reflected in reports.
So he knows the training, the undergraduate internship, the year of social service and the private practice of this doctor, all this plagued with sensitivity, pain, disappointment, fatigue, but happy to achieve the goal of all doctors: Serve and Heal Its Similar.
Through Dr. Gaytán, he meets Ceci Loza, a nurse at the General Hospital, with whom he will bond emotionally.
On one occasion, Adam is sent to cover a story about the Guatemalan refugees and accepts a child of Lacandon Maya origin who does not speak Spanish.
The nurse thinks she is used so that Adam can adopt the child, but everything will be resolved by virtue of other characters that will give life, color and solution to this story.
